The name Itza Brewing comes from our last name: Garcia Itza Niemi. Itza is an ancient Mayan name. There are only a few families left in the world with the last name Itza. It is thought that the word “Itza” comes from the Mayan words “itz” (“magic”) and “h(a)” (“water”). And that it means “Water Magician.” At Itza Brewing we strive to create magic from water: our beer.

We are on a journey to create authentic, adventurous, inspired craft beer. We are currently brewing, tasting and bottling new flavors of craft beer. On the way to you soon. Some of the beers we have brewed and tested: Amber, Double IPA, West Coast IPA, New England IPA, Sour Beer. We can’t wait to serve you our beer soon.
